Founding designer

Platia is looking for a senior product designer to help us build the first version of our product.


About Platia

Platia is a new startup founded by veterans from the Danish startup scene. It aims to build a social platform for organizations to form personal and professional communities, celebrate achievements as well as find and share structured information. Platia will put the employees in control of the platform and focus on asynchronous communication and collaboration free of endless notifications.

Our team

Platia is founded by Christian Holm, co-founder and former CTO of Peakon, CTO of Podio, as well as Søren Brokær, engineer and tech-entrepreneur with 10+ years of experience from some of Europe's leading tech start-ups.

The role

You will join the team as the founding designer with the primary responsibility of defining, validating and designing the first version of the product in close collaboration with the rest of the team. You are expected to shape and impact the early decisions and solutions that will form the basis of the product for the next many years.

In addition to this you will be expected to lead the process of establishing the visual identity of the Platia brand, including brand guidelines, logo and design system.


  • 5+ years of experience working on digital products, preferably B2B SaaS products.
  • Ability to work efficiently in smaller teams iterating quickly on new ideas and features.
  • Be able to take high-level abstract ideas from concept to high-fidelity design.
  • Able to transform complex requirements into features that are easy to understand and use.
  • Have a keen eye for the details that make a product a joy to use, as we aim to set a new bar for usability and experience.
  • Be able to have fun and add positively to the team while tackling difficult challenges.


We have a private office at SOHO Klosterstræde 9 in the center of Copenhagen. We provide a flexible work environment enabling you to manage your daily schedule. Some of us work mostly from the office, while others work mostly from home.


Salary will be based on experience and the value you can add to the company. All early employees will receive a significant share of the company through our employee warrant program.
